Lumimari – Estonian artist and illustrator
Uneleja pattern designers – our first bedding fabrics were created by Estonian artist Lumimari. Her style is delicate, poetic, and rich in detail, bringing an artistic and fairytale dimension to the bedding. Lumimari has participated in several exhibitions and designed postcards and posters. Additionally, she has illustrated two books, confirming her strong visual storytelling skills.

Irina Ylänne – Finnish textile designer
Irina Ylänne is Uneleja’s lead textile designer from Finland, who has said: “I love my profession!” Her work is born in the IRINAS studio, where she provides design services to various companies, including the well-known Finnish textile manufacturer Finlayson.
Irina’s work is internationally acclaimed – it has been admired in Finland, Sweden, Japan, India, and Russia. Her inspiration comes from simple, nature-inspired details: raindrops, dried leaves, and branches find a place in her patterns. She skillfully combines different techniques – photography, painting, and digital design – creating Nordic-style bedding that is both modern and timeless. Like all Uneleja pattern designers, she has left a strong mark on the development of our collection.
Kristel Laurits – design and well-being hand in hand
Kristel Laurits is an Estonian-born designer living and working in Copenhagen. Her work focuses on the impact of colors and materials on human well-being and interior design. Kristel’s creations help create balanced and peaceful environments that support rest and relaxation. Like the rest of Uneleja’s pattern designers, her style has helped us diversify our bedding collections.
Her work has been presented at international design fairs, including Salone del Mobile in Milan and 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen. Kristel’s design language is perfect for creating modern bedroom decor and high-quality bedding.
Breitenbach und Töchter – German design precision and experience
Based in Lübeck, Germany, the Breitenbach und Töchter studio was founded in 2017, but its designers have over 20 years of experience in both fashion and interior design. They have created patterns for the fashion industry, home textiles, wallpapers, and rugs, and have also collaborated with Kahla porcelain.
Their professionalism and creativity earned them the German Brand Award “17-special” in 2017. Their designs add elegance, modernity, and high quality to Uneleja’s collections, making them perfect for the discerning customer.
Nanna Gomaa – Danish elegance and floral motifs
Danish designer Nanna Gomaa has created Uneleja’s beloved collections Lilleunelma and Cornflowers, inspired by the Estonian national flower. Her work is characterized by soft tones, delicate patterns, and timeless beauty.
Her designs are produced on high-quality fabrics and are carefully packaged, making them excellent gifts. Nanna Gomaa’s work features romantic and elegant bedding that enhances any bedroom’s interior design.
