Glass teapot, 0.85L is a drip-free Creano glass teapot designed specifically for brewing loose-leaf tea. With a generous 0.85-litre capacity, the Teapot (glass), 0.85L is perfect for several cups of tea at once, and its integrated stainless steel strainer makes preparing tea simple and enjoyable.

A handcrafted glass teapot built for loose tea

Every detail of this teapot was developed with the specific requirements of loose tea in mind. The transparency of the glass lets you watch the tea steep and the colour deepen.

A stainless steel strainer for effortless brewing

The fine-pored strainer is made of food-safe stainless steel and is fully removable. Once removed, the Glass Teapot, 0.85L becomes a versatile vessel that can also be used for tea bags or blooming teas.

Heat-resistant borosilicate glass and careful craftsmanship

The Glass Teapot, 0.85L is made exclusively from high-quality materials. The glass body is crafted from heat-resistant borosilicate glass. The removable filter is made from high-grade stainless steel.

The teapot is suitable for use on a tea warmer, in the dishwasher, and in the microwave. Thanks to its carefully designed spout, the Glass Teapot, 0.85L is 100% drip-free.

Handmade character in every piece

Our Creano-brand Teapot is mouth-blown by hand. Creano teapots are available in a range of styles – wide, tall, double-walled, with a short spout or a rounder silhouette.

How to use the Glass Teapot, 0.85L

With the strainer (loose tea): Add the tea leaves to the strainer and pour hot water over them. Once the tea has steeped, lift off the lid, remove the strainer, and place the lid back on the pot.

Without the strainer (tea bags, blooming tea): Simply remove the stainless steel strainer before pouring and use the Glass Teapot, 0.85L directly with tea bags or a blooming tea flower.

Care and cleaning

Wash it regularly with warm soapy water and avoid harsh cleaning agents. For stubborn tea stains, a little baking soda or rice grains mixed with water can help. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Who is the teapot for?

This glass teapot is a lovely choice for any tea enthusiast who appreciates craftsmanship and quality materials, and it also makes a thoughtful gift. The Glass Teapot, 0.85L fits naturally into any kitchen or dining table.

Black tea flowers are made up of tea (Bai Hao Yin Zhen, silver needle) from the high mountainous regions of Fujian Province, China. Only high quality tea leaf buds are used, which are refined into a particularly fragrant and tasty black tea through a gentle fermentation process.

The taste of this black tea is sweet and mild. The tea itself can withstand a long steeping time without becoming bitter.

Black tea is blended with various flower essences that add flavour and aroma. Finally, the black tea and the flowers are formed into a ball, which only opens into a 'flower' in boiling water.

You can see a video on how to make the tea HERE.

Preparing for

boil about 500-800 ml of water and pour it immediately into a clear glass jug (for example, THIS jug). Please note: unlike with ordinary tea, boiling water is required to ensure that the tea flower is fully opened.

2. gently place the tea ball in the water - you will see a beautiful "flower" form from the tea ball within 8-10 minutes.

3. the minimum recommended pulling time is 8 minutes, but you can let it go a little longer on the road. This high quality black tea can withstand long standing times without becoming bitter.

Red aphrodisiac (black tea, rose and jasmine blossoms)
