Nele — Thu, 21 Oct 2021 13:40:26 +0000

The Children’s bed linen set Enchantment Garden is a two-piece bedding set for a baby or toddler: a duvet cover and a pillowcase in 100% cotton sateen. The duvet cover is reversible. One side shows a garden in bloom at night, full of hydrangeas, roses, butterflies and sleeping fairy faces; the other has a deep green leaf pattern. The design is by Finnish pattern designer Irina Ylänne.

A night-time garden by Finnish designer Irina Ylänne

The Enchantment Garden design draws a child into a dreamlike garden. Blue-violet hydrangeas, pink roses and white blossoms glow against a dark background, while butterflies with pearly, lace-like wings drift between them. Fairy faces with closed eyes peek out from among the flowers, one of them wearing a ladybird-spotted cap. The reverse of the duvet cover is calmer: dense green leaves on a deep green background. The pillowcase carries the hydrangea pattern.

The pattern was created by Finnish designer Irina Ylänne, who also designed our Magic Forest bedding series. Read more about Uneleja’s pattern designers. The design is digitally printed onto the fabric.

Fabric: Italian ELITE cotton sateen, OEKO-TEX® class I

The set is made from Italian ELITE cotton sateen. In a sateen weave, more threads lie on the surface than in a plain weave, which gives the fabric a smooth feel, a soft sheen and a gentle touch against the skin.

The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, product class I. This is the strictest class: it covers textiles for babies and children up to three years old and sets the tightest limits on harmful substances.

Where it is made

The pattern is printed onto the fabric in Italy. The bedding is sewn in Estonia by Artonella OÜ under the Uneleja brand.

Children’s bed linen set Enchantment Garden: sizes and use

duvet cover 110 × 140 cm + pillowcase 40 × 60 cm
duvet cover 120 × 160 cm + pillowcase 40 × 60 cm

Tumble dry or dry on a line.
The fabric may shrink by up to 3% in the first wash.
