The felted hat is for head size 57-59. It is possible to make larger or smaller hats to order.
When in the sauna, with the humidity and heat, the felted sauna hat takes the shape that suits the user and fits better. If necessary, the brim of the sauna hat can be cut to fit with scissors, the felt will not split.
The sauna hat – why do you need it at all? To avoid damaging your hair and scalp in a hot sauna, of course.
It’s best to wear a felt hat in the sauna, rather than a plain knit or linen towel.
Felt material protects not only the hair but also the blood vessels in the head from excessive heat. A felt hat is a good choice for barrel bathers.
This type of hat can be worn even in windy and blustery winter weather or on a particularly hot and sunny day.

What else do you need to know about felted hats?
The heat and humidity of the sauna will make the hat just right with a few wears, the hat may stretch a little or shrink a little.
Over time, the hat will become more comfortable to wear.
The brim of the hat can be rolled up or cut shorter (the felt will not split).
If desired, you can order a hat with a specific head size.
Product maintenance:
The hat is machine washable using a wool detergent and a wool wash programme. Hand washing is also allowed.
Spin drying is allowed, tumble drying is not recommended.
The shade of the grey hat is darker than the one in the picture.
