Northern Lights Rain Poncho – beautiful design and stunning colors.

Nothing beats a rain poncho in our northern climate. You can pull it over light summer clothes during a warm rain or over a thick winter jacket during sleet. Even a bobble hat fits comfortably under the hood.

The pattern was designed for Uneleja by Irina Ylänne from Finland. You can also find a neck gaiter with the same pattern in our gift shop.

When did people start using rain ponchos?

Rain ponchos have been in use for centuries. However, the exact history of when they were first used is difficult to determine. It is known that rainwear has evolved according to people’s needs and climatic conditions in different cultures.
